I have been a tourist in my own city. In these images I hope to capture a sense of isolation in the metropolis.

Submission for Assignment - Strange

The brief was to use scanned items and images to create images.
I scanned pianola roll paper, shawls, pine needles, a cushion cover, postcards a
and used Photoshop to manipulate them, and was pleased with the result I meust say.

Little landscapes

A couple of little landscapes - only around 12 x 8 cm - that's 5x4 inches. Done using mixed media - mostly acrylics. It was good to be asked to create something like this - pushed me to diversify.
Even framed one.

Learning about Macro Lenses

Tricky beasts macro lenses - much more complex than choosing macro setting on the compact camera -for sure.
Had two tries with the NMIT lense - an expensive f2.8 with some amazing zoom etc.

World Pinhole Day

Was on April 25th - World Pinhole Day when all the pinhole freaks get out on the same day and take a photo and upload it to the World Pinhole Day Website
We were at Airey's Inlet so we went to the lighthouse to take some pictures with the pinhole camera - very hit and miss.

Go to http://www.pinholeday.org/gallery/ and select the April 25th 2010, and search on BOUNDY
