I have been working on this - around A2 size with an aim to familiarise myself with acrylic paints rather than oil. I have used a bit of impasto to get the texture of the sea.

69 Smith St has put out an invitation to submit photos taken with a mobile phone.
I took these with my old Nokia with an average resolution of around 150k each
But I like the composition and subject matter.
