A day feasting on the visual stimulus of a new city. After considerable sensory derivation due to being in airports it was all the more interesting.

Impromptu Exhibition
A serendipitous opportunity came my way.... the gallery Art at St Francis had an unexpected gap in their exhibition schedule, and I had some work ready to show.
The theme is The Light Beyond.
Small works inspired by walks in Reggio Calabria Italy, by the Yarra River and the beach at Anglsea.
If you are in the city, call in 9 to 5 Mon to Fri at 326 Lonsdale St.
It is on until Apr 9th.
Flattered that the curator Brigette Remmen thought to ask me to exhibit.

Melbourne Flower & Garden Show
Sunday was a beautiful autumn day spent at the Exhibition Gardens wandering around the exhibits at the Garden Show.
Sublime.
A great opportunity to try out some clip on lenses for the phone camera.
Very pleased with the results, especially the macro lense.

Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital
This hospital was founded during the second world war for injured air force troops. It then catered for other soldiers from that war and subsequent ones.
I passed this abandoned area on the way to a training day in part of the new hospital.
My thoughts went to all of the sadness that these buildings held, and still do.
