In Abyanah we visited a mausoleum built to commemorate an imam. All around the walls were pictures of present day martyrs.
And outside a poster warning against foreign powers who want to encourage removal of the headscarf.
Interesting.
The mosque had beautiful doors.
This is a smalll village in central Tehran in the Karkas mountains. The village has stopped in time... people wear traditional dress and sell crafts and dried fruits to tourists. We were asked to refrain from photographing the villagers, so I photographed a poster.
