My take on Constructivist Sculpture

The brief was to create a model for a sculpture invoking constructivist principles.
Constructivism was a movement that came out of Russia in the early 20th century. It was lead by a man called Tatlin. The works were quite abstract - rejecting representational forms, and celebrating the new, the modern and pure form.
I experimented with a few models made from paper and card board.
I think I will go on to create the first one below. The requirement is to use wood - so I figure the first one is simple and elegant, and easier than the others to cut out of masonite.
