New NMIT assignment

Sense of Place is the theme - to convey a mood or an atmosphere.
I am looking to show the stoney coldness of Abbotsford Convent.

Fairfield Primary School Art Show

Have spent every spare moment this week in the studio creating works for the Fairfield Primary School Art show. The themed work 'Blast from the Past' was to be 10x10 inches.

I chose a 1950s theme.

Then I created 2 more pieces - 8x10 inches.

A new theme and style - still using collage and wax and transfers.

Contemporary Art Society -Brooch the Subject

I have created some little brooches for the CAS exhibition.

They are digital prints which I pasted onto mount board and varnished.
Hours of Photoshop - but pleased with the outcome.
They are slightly different sizes, but on average around 7cm x 5cm

They will be on display at
Fitzroy Library 21st August to 20th October
Toorak-South Yarra Library 3rd - 27th November

The opening is Sat 21st at 12 noon.

Exquisite Pallette at St Luke store

The St Luke Colorman shop at 32 Smith St, Collingwood, VIC, 3066 distributed 200 pallettes to artists and invited them to return them - decorated- for a show starting on Friday 30th July.
