More images of Sharjah

The old area of Sharjah has been restored and made into an arts precinct. 
But the port is still colourful and working and there are lots of amazing local shops that draw the eye. 
We have expereinced wonderful hospitality and respect here and suspect it will not be our first visit.

Shops in the old town. And the last picture is of the place where we had a huge delicious dinner of chicken in coriander and rice. And pomegranate juice. Sharjah is a dry country in all senses of the word.
