Katie Lee at The Incinerator Gallery

Sunday I visited the Incinerator Gallery to see the work of Katie Lee  with Andrew Saisbury.

Titled Even a Stopped Clock, it is based on an observation by Foucault about the movement of the earth. This installation evoked in me a feeling of the circular, reflection and rotation. 

Jo Lane at Tacit Contemporary Art

Yesterday I called in to Tacit Contemporary Art in Collingwood, and saw the work of Jo Lane.  I enjoyed seeing her beautifully executed drawings.

Bowls in the Archeological Museum in Limassol

What a joy to find these bowls from ancient times in the archaeological museum in Limassol Cyprus.

The designs are absolutely timeless.

Coincidence

One of the last items I was working on in the series on domestic items was a 'period' meat mincer like on e my mother owned and used every week to grind cold roast lamb.
