While at GOMA seeing the Matisse exhibition we popped in to see the temporary exhibition by Yayoi Kusama. She is a Japanese artist whose work usually includes ... dots. Lots of them.
She also likes to do installation works,
In GOMA she had set up a perfectly white room, and visitors were asked to placed coloured dots on the white surfaces with the aim of completely covering the white, Hence the name - the obliteration room.
By the time we got there it was late in the exhibition and the bliteration was well under way.
