We went to the province of Slavonia in Croatia where we stayed in a village called Karanac. We stayed at a farm which was a welcome haven after the rather sad environs of Sarajevo.
The couple who were our hosts, Denis and Gorec were charming, gracious and cheerful. We loved the farm and their hospitality.
