Assignment for NMIT - a collage responding to excursion to Gertrude St.

Petition sculpture

Sculpture by Susan Hewitt and Penelope Lee 2008. This work represents the giant petition with 30,000 signatures that was presented to parliament in 1891 supporting equal voting rights for women. The sculpture is in Burston Reserve near the Victorian Parliament buildings.

Finished the sustainability project at last.
My piece is a direct comment on sustainability in general.
Now I have to document the sustainable work practices I followed.
Using gloves and non toxic glues, eco aware disposal etc.
