Fertila must hold a record for one of the shortest entries in Wikipedia for the history of a town.
It has a very rundown feeling.. that everyone has left town and handed it over as a film set to location scouts.

Fertilia was built by the Fascist government of Italy in the 1930s, after the draining of the marshes which covered the area. Fertilia lies between Fertilia Airport and the city of Alghero.
