Today we went to our first day of language school. We finished at 1.30, so we had time to get stuck into some serious tourist stuff.
Chiesa di Monteoliveto a feast of paintings by Vasario. His homage to Michaelangelo. Extraordinary! And other beautiful altar pieces.
Then on to Basilica di Santa Chiariamenti. A much more modest affair.
And finally to the church Gesù Nuovo........completely over the top in the decorations department, but impressive because of the number of devotees in the church when we visited.
