Rua Catalana Naples

We are staying in a small street near Rua Catalana. Clearly the name originates from the Spanish times. It is where the local metal workers are situated. These are some charming sculptures created in 1997 by a lecturer at a Naples university called Riccardo Dalisi in collaboration with the local metal workers. We walk under them every time we leave the apartment. The metal fabbricators still work here in little workshops that spill onto the streets.
